Diptyque

Diptyque is a French perfume house famous around the world for its signature candles and exceptional fragrances.

St Germain

Drawn together by a shared creative vision, friends Christiane Gautrot, Desmond Knox-Leet and Yves Coueslant opened the first Diptyque store in Paris on 34 Boulevard Saint-Germain in 1961. Initially displaying their own interior designs and collections from their travels, the trio celebrated the boutique’s second anniversary with the release of three scented candles to complement their fabrics. In 1968, they launched their first perfume, L’Eau, sparking a more than 40-year-old fragrance legacy.
